Weekend Agenda
We are so happy you will be celebrating our special day with us! We hope you will make our wedding into a fun weekend and have a chance to enjoy the local sights. Here's the agenda we have planned so far:Thursday, July 20th
- Family and friends begin to arrive in Asheville
- Go sightseeing in North Carolina's beautiful mountain region and take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
- Visit Historic Hendersonville's Main Street
- Visit the state of the art Biltmore Winery and try a some of their award-winning wines made right here on the estate
- Discover why North Carolina barbecue is like no other in the world!
Friday, July 21st
- Take a tour of the Biltmore Estate's famous home, gardens, or enjoy some of the many activities on the property
- Head into Asheville and treat yourself to a stroll through the historic 1929 Grove Arcade or to a spa day at Grove Park Inn, both built by the visionary developer E.W. Grove
- Enjoy high tea and delectable treats at the Inn and chat with friends, while you relax and enjoy the beautiful summer mountain weather
Saturday, July 22nd
Meghan & Andrew's Wedding in the gardens of the Inn on Biltmore Estate at 5:30pm
- Enjoy a champagne reception on the Veranda, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains
- Following the toasts, sit down to a fantastic dinner and delicious wedding cake
- Food, wine, dancing, and star gazing into the wee hours...
Sunday, July 23rd
- Sleep in, of course
- Join us for a casual late morning brunch ...see you there!
